Classic Game Room HD reviews Playstation 2 PS2 DUALSHOCK 2 controller. Does it really dual shock you? This is the Playstation 2 Dualshock2 controller for your PS2 video game console system. It is a wired controller with the two analog thumbsticks for excellent video gaming. It rumbles, vibrates and generally kicks ass all around. The Dual Shock thing originally came out of the Playstation 1 PS1 oh so long ago, then they remade it black and sold it with the PS2 when it was released in 2000. All of the familiar buttons are there inclusing the original L2 and R2 buttons instead of the awful triggers that we got with the PS3 Sixaxis controller. This is a nice accessory to have in your stack of PS2 accessories because without it you can't play any great Playstation 2 games like Grant Theft Auto Vice City, Timesplitters Future Perfect, Red Faction or Gran Turismo 4. This is a unique CGRHD video game review show review of this controller that you won't find anywhere else. Is this the best controller ever made? You'll have to decide for yourself, however Classic Game Room likes it. Damn straight.

The fifth goal Game Review

Eden is located in a series of 5 magical gardens captured and must escape through the opening of The Fifth Goal! Use your strategy and time management, to grow plants to kill pests, harvest the right mix of flowers and create the most profitable potions. Help Eden when they completed quests and making enough money to secure backlash from their kidnappers in this Time Management flowers!

At the beginning of the game, Eden wakes up to find a secret garden in full. When shetrying to figure out how it got there and how to escape, she meets the owner of the garden: an angry-looking magic nymph. Apparently brought the nymph Eden, the garden so they could help maintain and grow. She was also warned that the last person tried to escape and "treated" had to be. There are 5 gardens in the fifth gate, you need to complete each with aDozen quests (or levels) to progress. Each garden has a different theme of plants, including South America and even other topics. The game consists of two phases: the crops and planning phase. The harvest period is the time-management phase. You must be on the flowers when they sprout to harvest them, click on the plants when they need water, and then hold on to kill pests before they kill the plants. Each crop phase provides anlimited amount of time to get everything done before the phase ends. In addition, the amount of flowers you can harvest is the size of your storage environment, and the amount of plants that you water is limited by the amount of water is limited in your watering can.

The planning phase is where all the strategic decisions are made. Time stops at this stage, and you can plan slow, which is the most efficient thing to do. You can coins to refill your watering can, update the quantity of flowersYou can store, expand your garden or grow plants. But where do you get the coins to do all this? Every flower that you can be harvested to be sold for coins. However, a more profitable option would be to combine the flowers to create a variety of potions and then sell these potions. For example, if you need to make Class 2 and Class 3 lavender roses to your bestDrink will become the flowers your top priority, and you should ignore other flowers, if your storage tank in the vicinity.

Unwell Mel Game Review

Most famous doctors in television and in games need to contend with challenging and mysterious illnesses throughout their careers. In Unwell Mel though, you get to meet a man that seems to be infested with all of the diseases known to man and beyond. This time as you play doctor, you'll need to solve all of Mel's hundreds of sicknesses through a wacky match-3 game that extends beyond medical reason.

Mel is a very weird man, not because of his personality, mind, but because of his unusual magnetism to illnesses. Mel currently has eleven deformities, a total of a hundred other illnesses that point to the deformities, and many more symptoms that point to each illness. In other words, Mel is definitely not feeling well, and since you're his unfortunate doctor, it's now up to you to cure all of Mel's symptoms until he can face society once again.

Unwell Mel follows a traditional match-3 game play wherein you have to swap items to match them up and clear them from the board. For each level of the game representing one of Mel's symptoms, you are given goals of clearing all gunks and bugs to progress on to the next stage. Gunks are cleared once you match items on top of gunked tiles, but for clearing bugs, you must follow various strategies.

Bugs have many types and as you get to meet a new bug, you'll also be shown the way on how you must deal with it. For example, Virusites are bugs that when matched will go and infect other bugs near it, Grabbits tend to stick together and won't budge when they stick, and Hemoglobins will in time produce gunks if not matched right away. Sometimes, you'll get to take advantage of each bug's trait but most of the time, bug traits will just provide the game with a lot of difficulty, especially on later levels where different bugs are mixed on a single game board.

PS3 Game Review: Fallout: New Vegas

Classic Game Review: Six Gun Shootout

Tuco's smile was a mixture of annoyance and amusement. He was unaccustomed enough to hot baths to resent the intrusion of any member of the male sex into his private paradise, but it struck his sadistic sense of humour to think of the interloper's expression when he looked behind the screen and found the tub empty.

Tuco tensed his finger gently back on the trigger as the one-armed would-be assassin peered around the screen to find his target absent from the tub and a lead "No Trespassing" sign headed for his chest. A look of disbelief was permanently etched upon his visage as his form fell into the tub and his own blood turned the bathtub water into a rusty liquid cesspool of death.

Such is the opening encounter of one of the scenarios of Six-Gun Shootout (SG), one of the latest releases from SSI. SG is a game of man-to-man combat in the days of the "Wild West" with an appearance reminiscent of Galactic Gladiators. The game consists of ten scenarios based on the "Wild West" of Hollywood and popular legend with a modicum of history thrown in. The object of the game is to survive, not necessarily to use the historically correct weapon in the exact historical locale. For example, the "Gunfight at the 0. K. Corral" actually takes place in the corral for the scenario. However the local Tombstone newspaper published eyewitness reports that made it clear that the gunfight took place in the street outside the corral.

Nevertheless, the scenarios are challenging and worth playing. SG also offers a campaign game in which the player can create and arm a "personal character" and attempt to have him survive all ten scenarios (Hint: In order to accomplish this, the player should definitely be a "good guy", otherwise he will not likely survive the "Shootout at Stinking Spring" scenario where Pat Garrett parlayed a 12-5 advantage into the death of "Billy the Kid.").

Although the game mechanics are similar to those in Galactic Gladiators, Six Gun's mechanics are smoother. The capacity for hidden movement is an improvement that is quite useful and impressive. Each character is also able to use "cover" more effectively as the options of allowing the characters to be prone, kneel or stand affects line of sight differently than the line of sight in the earlier game.

The game also has a "View" command which allows each character to test the line of sight against the other characters prior to ordering a character to shoot at a target. Unlike the earlier game of man-to-man combat, SG isn't very flexible in creating one's own scenarios. The earlier game had a tremendous capacity for designing scenery and characters to fit fictional situations. In SG, there is no built in mechanism for creating such scenarios, only modifying the existing ten scenarios. It is to be hoped that if SG is a successful game in sales that such a "construction kit" might be available as an additional diskette. Otherwise, SG is a superior game.

Each scenario involves the movement and combat of two "teams": "The Good Guys" and "The Bad Guys." The scenarios include: "The Gunfight at the 0. K. Corral,"; "The Good, Bad, The Ugly"; "Rio Bravo"; "Shootout at Stinking Spring"; "The Battle of Ingalls"; "The Dalton's Demise"; "El Siette Magnifico"; "North field Nightmare"; "The Treeing of Placid"; and "Indian Raid." The first, fourth, fifth, sixth and eighth listed scenarios are based on historical situations. The second, third and seventh are based on recognizable movie situations. The final two are generic "might have happened" scenarios.

Depending on preference, the player could end up controlling Wyatt Earp, Billy the Kid, Jessie James, Doc Holliday, Pat Garrett, or The Man with No Name (Blondie). The commands are simple. Each character may: ready a weapon; load a weapon: fire; move according to an 8 position grid; stand; become prone; kneel; use dynamite; and/or view potential lines of sight. Each character phases by move segments according to a formula for character movement rate combined with weapon movement rate. The character movement rate is not static, being modified by such things as health condition and body position. SG is a relatively simple, fast-moving and enjoyable game. It is satisfying and clear-cut in its determination of victory points and victory. One only wonders if the allowable adjustments to the ten scenarios will allow it to have as long a shelf life as previous SSI games.
