A Video Game Review: Microsoft Xbox 360 Kinect Adventures

What is one to say with this video game. I really do not know what I expected when I came to this Kinect video game titles to play. One thing was I was sure it would be different. As it turned out I was not wrong for ever! Kinect Adventures is a great game. It uses body movement and placement of the Kinect sensor, so that you complete "tasks" and "adventure". There are a variety of activities you can participate in, and they differ inLevel of activity, but all are guaranteed to make you participate. In total there are 20 total adventure for the players to complete, and the average person can not or do not want in one sitting! Trust me on this, it would be much more physically demanding than you expect.

The first of the activities in Kinect Adventures would be discussed include "River Rush" (rafting). It's fun to play solo .... more fun to play with a friend. Did I mention Adventures is 100% 2 playerscompletable. The controls (you) responds, there is no delay or indifference. Perhaps a little slow to pick up a proposed sharp curve too fast and then to complete once made the direction. Other than that, (which is just me) rush down a raging river on your raft sit on rocks and hit ramps to avoid. Going to catch serious air to swim, and jump from cloud to cloud, you name it. And of course it has the popular ... Collection of coins! There is a big thumbs from meCool.

"Rally Ball" Some kind of space age Paddleball kind of brick breaking action game. They serve the ball to break the stones, but the ball back.Your job? they keep playing and keep them break stones, til it all away. Sounds simple right?, Flaming return serves and multi-ball does not start to make this a walk in the park disadvantages, and again I felt almost like I have to do the movements of the ball and my swing, or blocks in front of a real-time experience to anticipate needs. Not a greatDeal, mind you, certainly not enough to dampen I had any joy. Just enough to make mention.

"Reflex Ridge" Aaargh here's the real workout! Reflex ridge is basically a video player nightmare. A "gauntlet" of the padded bumper, duck, jump, side step and avoid general terms. Add to accelerate pull bars and coin collection, to increase the equation and you have yourself "reflex Ridge". Unlike Rally ball I found that, despite having extreme energy and quick reflexesneeded it does not seem to be any movement or control subjects. (Maybe it was just me) Either way, a good supplement for this video game titles.

"Space Pop" Kinda small and simple but no less interesting. Flap your arms to float in zero gravity. Drop it to float down to your sides. The catch? Only the waves of bubbles that come floating into space. Yep, you guessed it "float" around, up and down popping bubbles. Seems simple and it is, but it is still there foran additional activity. Again no control issues at all gameplay ran smooth and flawless. As I mentioned, perhaps a little too "easy" for my taste. Ideal for small and active non-violent video game for the children, however.

"20,000 Leaks" is last on the list, but not least, work on your roster. Have you ever dreamed in a glass box under the sea? Has your dream life in the sea are poking holes in your glass box you from flood risk? Naww I never had that I dream. I have, however, that played video games. That's the idea in this activity, and it is surprising fun.Fish, swimming turtles and other forms of aquatic life around poking holes in your box in ever greater numbers at an alarming rate. Using your hands, feet, face ... what you can to stop the leaks. This part of the video game works fine, no obvious defects, simple but effective fun for the kids.

Although the Xbox 360 has put some time into this video> Game and it is certainly entertaining, I do not see it to go with the stamina or the mainstream of conventional "shoot'em up". To be honest, I'm not sure it should do that too. It's more of a video game Kinect showcase for children. Perhaps best described as "what can the system and technology," describes the type of game. This is one of those video games you play with the family, with the children. Hell, you pull it out when business is good for guarantees overTimes and laughs all around. Ohh did I mention it has a digital "photo" Stock Option? Share and post online for others to enjoy. Mmhmm pics taken of you playing! Of course, taken photos of you, in your MOST desperate attempts to complete levels. Another laugh out loud function, even if you fly it with an open mouth and arms for the whole world to see caught. My last word on the matter, that's Evolution Video Game for Microsoft Xbox 360 is worth playing!
