DJ Hero - Review of a real DJ Battle

Activision's DJ Hero, released the latest and greatest in the music / gaming industry. First I would like to share my experiences with DJing. I am a Hip Hop DJ Battle that has participated in many competitions, but yet to win first. A close, but that does not apply in any case with my review / opinion.

At first I was very curious to see the DJ Hero commercial the other night. Finally, a DJ simulation that has the look and feel of true DJing. The game itself is packed withdeveloped a turntable and a mixer to your Xbox, Wii, PS2 or integration / 3 Out of the box, you can start to mix down songs like a real DJ.

The turntable / mixer combo box can be either left-handed or right-handed, is configured to a very nice feature. I, as a right-handed, but I am in my mixing and scratching, I am more of a left-handed, go figure. The platter is rotating like a real turntable, but is not driven. The hub also contains three buttons (green, red, blue), theused to assist in the game and have duties to monitor queues as songs or ads that you scratch with. I think that this is a very interesting concept, how you really feel the scratch tracks without spending thousands on DJ equipment, as I do.

The track list is very extensive and, and will mix some very interesting combinations of songs. Some of the interesting compounds, at least for me are:
50 Cent - "DiscoInferno vs David Bowie - "Let's Dance"
Beastie Boys - "Intergalactic" vs. Blondie - "Rapture"
Black Eyed Peas - "Boom Boom Pow" vs Benny Benassi - "Satisfaction"
Eminem - "My Name Is" vs. Beck - "Loser"
Jay-Z - "Izzo (HOVA)" vs. Eminem - "My Name Is"

With more than 90 different tracks in the track list, sees the game at the distance of people who have always wanted to try to bridge DJ, but do not want to shell out the money for a turntable setup - which can get veryexpensive. Trust me on that.
