From Midway, Warner Bros. and DC Comics, this bizarre yet pleasing combination of Mortal Kombat franchise and the DC comic characters such as occursSuperman, Batman, Lex Luther, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, and Catwoman. The Mortal Kombat characters you know and love, you've come to a deadly struggle with Raiden, Sonya Blade, Jax, Scorpion, Sub Zero and Liu Chang. What universe you choose to fight? That's the beauty of this game, against a parallel storyline with one of two opposite sides. The writing in this game is campy, impossible, and awesome. Fatality moves for Mortal Kombat and DC characters are in play, andAlthough the violence has been toned down a little hard with DC Heroic brutality (?), the fatality moves of fun to see, and beautifully presented in 3D animation. In many ways, this is a superior game Mortal Kombat vs. Soul Calibur IV or Virtua Fighter 5 ... Who wins? CGRHD may remember this game better, short and easy to use key combos, great gameplay, and that awesome mix of DC and MK characters. One of the better fighting games out there for the 360 and PS3.
