Stranglehold Review

This is a video game sequel to John Woo's blockbuster hit movie Hard Boiled. The game turns out, after the events of Hard Boiled, and has everything what you expect from John Woo. Stranglehold is a PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The player is in control of the protagonist Inspector Tequila, and Chow Yun Fat reprises his role as the stylish hero. The plot in Stranglehold is a little girl who is used as a ransom, so to rescue Tequila --her.

The story seems fresh and fades into the background, the slow motion and fast action. The gameplay is fast and adventure holidays from beginning to end. The players are in a world where the bullets fly means to dive, cinematic man and every lot of arms. Almost the entire environment can be used to a certain extent.

If you do not destroy a pillar, you can also use it as cover, or various other ways in a firefight. In a nutshell, the highest goal inStranglehold is to eliminate anything that moves. The players must have a standard arsenal of weapons, pistols, assault rifles, shotguns, rocket launchers and machine guns. In addition, Inspector Tequila will be able to use four skills known as Tequila Bombs to. These skills are mapped to the D-pad for easy access, and they fit the game well. Stranglehold in a visible meter will be at the top of the screen. You have to fill this meter toTequila lead maneuver a bomb. Killing enemies is the only way to charge up your meter, so do not worry, you have to take the deduction.

The first Tequila Bomb is a rudimentary improve health. The second Tequila Bomb is precision aiming. Precision target allows you to slow down time and precise alignment of your opponents. Firing at a particular body part will lead to act according to opponents.

Is For example, shoot at his head leading him to die. Similarly, shoot him inthe bar is going to force him to pack his private part and the (my personal favorite place to shoot). The camera will actually zoom on the ball with precision aim mode. The third Tequila Bomb Barrage mode, you can. This is very similar to Scarface that will rampage a "ball" mode of destruction. It works the same way. You have a limited time, when your attributes are enhanced, and you are invincible. The fourth and final Tequila Bomb is a smart bomb. When used,Cause them to pulverize all enemies on screen at once on a cinematic scene. The inspector will spin (ala Max Payne 2) and stopping only to him. Another aspect of the gameplay Max Payne will appease fans, is the aforementioned bullet-time slow motion. There is a separate meter for this, and it fills in the same manner as the Tequila Bomb meter. Slow motion may be initiated when walking, hiking, diving, and the interaction with the environment.

Some of the things that you willdo in a position to run back and forth sliding counters and railings when spraying your rivals with balls (ala movie Hard Boiled). There is no doubt that many players can enjoy the spacers in Stranglehold, but I found it rather tedious. The spacers play dramatically different than the actual gameplay. Their goal is to escape and fire simultaneously, but this part of the game is difficult. The audio is amazing how you hear gunshots and people by risingAir. The graphics are a bit hit or miss. Chow Yun Fat looks just like his real life counterpart, and the setting look like Hong Kong. However, seem a good bit dull of enemies. There are multiplayer Stranglehold, but it is not as stimulating as the single-player campaign. Stranglehold has his weaknesses, which are their short length, and the plot is a disaster.

Anyone who is curious to get their next fix Max Payne, then answer is Stranglehold. The comparisons betweenMax Payne and Stranglehold are uncanny. From the slow-motion bullet time's impact on the surprisingly short game, Stranglehold is about as close to get Max Payne as a man. Although avid gamers will cruise through Stranglehold on a day that no one should stop them from playing the game.

final verdict 8 of 10
