Since the first time link the lands of Hyrule circled on his epic quest to save Princess Zelda and put the right of the evils of Ganon his and their names are synonymous with brilliant to play. The first mention of Twilight Princess about three years ago was filled with so much excitement and fanfare as any Zelda game in development. But then showed us a video of the game. There are in full glory was the adult Link from Ocarina of Time fame slashing away with theMaster Sword. The vision was fine and after the diversion of cel shaded Wind Waker, close to tears throughout the world fanboys.
The Legend of Zelda was back, and with a vengeance. The name of the link would cross between Filter avid Nintendo fans for months and years until they finally saw the light of the world. It took a long time for Link's latest adventure at last appear on the shelves, and a good part of that delay was announced in late 2006 and release of Nintendo's NewestConsole, the Wii. The Big N arming withheld their biggest game of the year and to renew them for their next-gen console entry.
But it was worth it. The controller, the gameplay, the little changes - each of them has been worth the wait and the dual release of the game on both consoles? The answer to this question is the easiest thing I say to you here. Absolutely.
The newest Zelda adventure, Twilight Princess is by far have the best reason for a Nintendo Wii. TheGame is a masterpiece on almost all levels, to the point I'm almost ready to call it the greatest game ever made. We have this much heard that this game is the greatest. That it surpasses what Ocarina achieved 8 years ago. And as my own favorite game, it's hard to ever be anything more than Ocarina in terms of scope, depth and placed on innovation. But we'll try it.
Presentation
The first thing you notice when you boot, the game is theScope. You will notice it later, but right away, on the title screen, left sitting on Epona looked to the great ruins in front of him and his search. The atmosphere is dark, matching the game's title, and by far more adults. Everything is drowned in sepia, brown, and gray. The vibrant yellows and greens of Wind Waker have gone for something more earthly and harder.
And then there's Link. Fully grown and already a local hero, the children of hisVillage, this is the first game in which Link spends his entire adventure as an adult with fully realized emotional range and the confrontation with the other characters. While some other links are detached from their surroundings of his age and lack of voice acting, this link is so thoroughly intertwined with those characters as any Square Enix game.
And the world. Well, that's Hyrule, as it oughta be. It's huge. And by big, I mean massive. And by massive, I mean unbelievablelarge, even outside of the first visions of the previous games. Imagine the Hyrule Field of Ocarina of Time, and that a picture in Twilight Princess's. Well, that several-fold, and you have a rough idea of how big this game is.
Quests are still formulated in the basic dungeon crawling formula, but this time it's Nintendo throws a few twists, all the while creating something much more seamless and organic, in the form of stories than all their previous statements.
TheStory
The story takes our young hero in his village in the farthest corner of the map, a wrangler on a ranch, and the hero to the children of the village. One day, without notice, he is picked up from home and transported through a strange black border in a shady world. In this twilight world, he meets Midna, a strange creature of the twilight, which serves as a guide him through his upcoming trip. More importantly, we find our favorite green-clad hero is transformed into a wolf.
ItYou might remember the recent Okami Clover, and it should, because the two characters are similar in their execution, but link is different. This is only temporary. They will change again in conjunction, we need not worry. But now a lot of fun with your Wolf version. Midna in any case.
You'll meet the princess and then we're in battle, as the link tried folding the Twilight of Hyrule to pack up and defeat the dark thief who is released. This is a darker story than the previous games. All throughout asThey fight and defeat the people of the dawn can be found engaged in epic battles with hordes of enemies, and includes some of the greatest sequences present in each game. The eye for the drama here could craft a beautiful film with the same energy.
Link's quest takes him to the children from his village to save, then the whole world, and all the while in his quest, as any game on the market, and novels in the bookstore or movie theater involved. This is a great epic with E, and there is messing around with this statement.
Gameplay
The gameplay is probably the only thing most new Wii owners out there worried. Designed for a game for the gamecube how to handle the Wii Remote? Beautiful. Frankly, I can not imagine this game in other ways. The accuracy obtained during the shooting of an arrow or a sword swing, or fishing is incredible and makes the whole process that much more funBecause instead of worrying about the accuracy of your left thumb, you can focus on how incredibly cool it is a shadow beast down from half a mile, while shooting at the horse's back.
And that's where this sport is growing so well its predecessors. He strives always to a new and exciting way to craft a scene thinking. Sequences from the tournament to rail shooter, the scavenger hunts in the dark Twilight Princess again shows its innovation with a broad smile and a thoroughGesture.
And the dungeons? Dungeons are the key to any Zelda game. They make more than three quarters of the game and the difficulty of using the methods in which they solve the game is fun or not (Wind Waker ... I'm looking at you) combined. Well, first from the dungeons not quite take the volume of the gameplay here, as in the past. Wait, not even panting. This game is long. Very long, the longest by far, and the dungeons are only so long, andfull of puzzles and innovative solutions, each of them unique and fun in their own way. However, the rest of the game is so content with packed that it resembles more than any past Zelda games.
The Ocarina of Time Dungeon format provides motto here, with fighting in the trees with monkeys, Goron wrestling matches in the bowels of a volcano, and underwater escapades with Zora. And they are even more fun this time around.
Sound
It is not perfect. I'm sorry, Ifeel bad about it, but I must say that this game has a few bugs. They are small, but they are there and they distracted a bit from the game. The music is turned off first, still stuck in the MIDI format from the cartridge a day. They have moved to DVDs Nintendo. Full orchestration is not a reality for you can always ignore your games, and it would be the epic scenes that have made a lot of jaw dropping. The game time differences also away from voice acting in the same manner of hisPredecessors, but that's not necessarily an error, like Zelda could be heard speaking only hurt more than they would add. But the orchestra would have been great.
Overall
It's epic, it's amazing. It is one of the best games of all time. Is it the best? I always want to not make it that title, source of my greatest admiration for his ancestors, Nintendo 64, but it's mighty close, and the best reason to purchase a Nintendo Wii right now. Call it an even 9.5 out of 10 Genius.
