Warhammer Mark of Chaos is the long awaited RTS (Real Time Strategy) game from Namco Bandai. Based on the tabletop war game from Games Workshop, Warhammer, you can fight evil in addition to chaos, or the mighty empire. The game itself is amazing, graphics are top-notch and the AI is breathtaking. It captures the whole experience very Warhammer, and has pretty good multiplayer action. While there are some disadvantages (eg, multi-technical issues and a rather fundamentalCampaign), it is worth buying this game.
The game is fairly easy to (after about half an hour, you will likely see most of the basic controls are used to get used to) Basically, most of the click and drag, but there are some useful Rotate / zoom options (all in the tutorial explains, this is a must for first-time players) and reset when a quick view is required, all you need to do is tap the spacebar on your keyboard.
The fights are very similar to the Total WarGames (only instead of just people who comprise the Orcs, Elves, Skaven, Chaos, and other creatures / armies of the popular fantasy war game) The fights are amazing to watch and, in some points I just zoom and watch my men to fight . Unfortunately, the campaign mode is nothing special. The player has the choice between two campaigns, the Chaos campaign and the Empire campaign. Although War Mark of Chaos and the total score the same kind of epic battles function, one can not be said for the campaigns. The Mark Of Chaos campaigns are nothing close to the strategic depth of the Total War campaigns, but both have the same turn-based style.
Both the Empire and Chaos campaigns are very similar, you move along a predetermined path and fight the fight battle after another to perform and help defeat a besieged city, duel, a hero and enemy and the enemy's camp. Occasionally you can across the intersection, which has come to an optional fight, but apart from that it really does notrandom events. You can buy your own army units, upgrade them with better armor, weapons, siege equipment, banner, musician and master unit, and even bless your troops in a temple, granting them various fighting benefits. If you choose a battle you can not choose which troops to take with you and this was the decision-making and strategic planning begins .. you want an army full of long-range weapons such as guns, bows or axes, or would you rather rely on aStrength from the swords and spears? The choice is yours .. If you lose a few units into battle, you can replace them (for a price) in your camp / city (with the whole "resource gathering" process, the other real-time strategy games can make boring). You also get different heroes thought control the game. They can also be upgraded with unique upgrades, they can collect armor and other items from dead units and use special fighting capabilities to enhance her / their regiment / defense skills. These heroes can battle the enemy hero in one-to-fight-one. Speaking of battles, these include a lot of strategic thinking and with the right tactics, it is possible to destroy the enemy with minimal loss of your page. The fight is not like most RTS games, it is not to fight "until death", the morality and the units are when a significant part of this unit is killed, the survivors will come from the ranks and flee to what you ( or your opponent) a chance to regroup and chase the rest of the enemyArmy until they are forced to surrender.
Multiplayer battles are often large and exciting (that is, if you manage to connect to ..) Unfortunately, there are some problems with the connection (even after patching), but thank God, they are finally identified and supported Mark of Chaos multiplayer game over a LAN so its not as big a problem.
This game is a fine example of a modern RTS, and future expansions should be interesting ..
I give this game a 8.5/10
