Yoshi's Story review

For over a decade, I've came across a game that I had a short love / hate relationship. I loved it ... while it and it was hated because they are so short and simple! This game was Yoshi's Story, and many people felt the same way. Being that this was the only other side-scrolling game on the N64 (U.S. side) next to Mischief Makers, the odds were against him. 3D games console were somehow a new thing at the time and Yoshi's Story game was a 2 1/2D ... sold, what the hell? Commercial was the gameOK, but there was one critical error. Why this game was so loved? Now that this game on the Virtual Console for the Nintendo Wii, I went to rethink what I ... loved and hated about this largely overlooked gem of a game.
