Master of fortresses is the newest Tower Defense game, appeared on our website. I started it simply because I do) like Tower Defense games (and games in general defense and I found the name intriguing. I did not intend to write a review about it, but Master of fortresses proved to be very addictive (I Could not stop playing to the very end - if you consider the end of the continuous mode to be), and so here you have this> Review. I also have a few helpful tips for those who might find the game too hard.
The concept behind champions the forts is a little different behind other Tower Defense games (actually it is better be called a castle defense game: p - yes, I know there are not enough similar defense games out there allow a new game category ).
One of the main features (which there is realism), is the fact that you putPalisades at each fire unit. These big guns are as well! Now, in her case, you also need a bastion place to accommodate them. So number four palisades, a bastion on it and the cannon on the bastion. It is really nice, but beware of (!) To do all these costs. The price, the actual gun fire can be much larger than the cost of the gun itself (with British troops, it was 40 x 4 for Palisades + 1 x 250 + 200 for the bastion of the cheapest gun itself - such atotal of 610 for a gun (field coil), which costs 200 itself. These games can be used for those surprise one to normal Tower Defense.
is also important to notice that your troops and guns upgraded, can be just as in most Tower Defense games. It is perhaps not be obvious how to do it, so here it is (an example of the British side): Rank militia -> if you have enough money to unlock Red Coats -> Red Coats directly or select your existing militia, and select "Upgrade" in thelower right corner of the screen. Furthermore, you can unlock Green Jackets, and update your existing troops. And this green coats are real sniper! I survived a lot in continuous mode only by using them. The upgrade costs are much larger than the last unit costs (costs 50 Militia and the upgrade to Red Coat is 40, for a total of 90, while a Red Coat direct costs only 65), but I was not too much trouble from him. You get enough money from the killing of the enemy afford to keep updating a decentLevel of the troops! Oh, the same goes for upgrading your guns.
Strategy: Well, you saw that I wanted to play on the British side (mostly against the French). The British have the most expensive troops, but that pack a good punch. I'm sure you do the following tips for the other pages too.
How to select first a good defensive position. As the tutorial says, you put your defense in "choke" points if you can. If you can not, I recommend the commissioning of the first defensesbuild at least 3 squares away from your base to have enough space to later bastions behind them (the guns have a longer range then the troops, of course).
For me, the basic strategy for troops on picket is set as the first line of defense (and update it as soon as possible) worked very well. If you upgrade finished them, you can bastions building and deploying cannons. Ah, an important, if you hover the mouse over the arrows that show the attacking directionscan the unit time to attack from this side. If you see engineers, then put barricades in front of your palisades. This is because the engineers are very hard attackers and they are a few of the buildings they destroy encounter (and it is better to have a barricade with a value of 15, then a palisade worth the 40 + squad to lose to them). You can also use different types of traps, as in other Tower Defense games, it is especially useful when facing the later waves.
I likedto also Puckle Guns (such as machine guns). Quickly fire and have a very good selection. And, this could save lives: You can turn bastions! Therefore, you can get from where most of the enemies and turn the most weapons to study in this direction!
I wrote a life saver over and here is an absolute "do not": Do not attempt a maze, as recommended in other games defense tower. These guys take it to destroy every obstacle!
As a conclusion, Masterthe forts is an addictive and well made tower defense game. There is a good selection of troops and upgrades, as well as the strategies to approach. Although I have shared with you my strategy, there is nothing to stop you try your own, others. Check out the end of the article bellow (or resource box) to connect and play in the search for this great game. Enjoy!
